| Beschreibung |
Milton C. Hardcastle ist ein pensionierter Richter vom obersten Gericht in Los Angeles. Mark McCormick ein Rennfahrer, wegen Diebstahls verurteilt, war Hardcastles letzter Fall. McCormick wurde unter die Aufsicht des Richters gestellt und zusammen arbeiten sie 200 Fälle auf, die während Hardcastles Dienstzeit nie zu einem entgültigen Abschluss gekommen waren.
